Natalie Metropulos is Counsel with Leech Tishman, and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Based in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh office, Natalie focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and family law.
Natalie has experience representing policyholders seeking insurance coverage under various types of policies, including commercial general liability (CGL) policies, professional liability policies, crime policies, and financial institution bonds. She assists clients through all phases of recovery, from initial notice through resolution of the claims, focusing on putting policyholders in the best possible position to maximize their coverage.
Additionally, Natalie has assisted clients in disputes involving breach of commercial sales agreements, landlord-tenant disputes, claims of fraud, violations of the RICO Act, mortgage defaults, and various other commercial litigation matters. She has also aided clients with responding to government inquiries. Natalie’s practice also involves counseling individuals on family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, protection from abuse, adoption and guardianship matters.
Natalie is committed to providing pro bono legal services. To that end, she has volunteered for National Adoption Day and has received training to serve as a pro bono mediator for families interested in drafting Post-Adoption Contact Agreements, which govern the contact that birth parents and adoptive parents have with one another after a child is placed for adoption. Natalie was also instrumental in developing and implementing the Pittsburgh chapter of the Name Change Project in Allegheny County, which provides free legal services to transgender individuals seeking a legal name change.
Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Natalie was an attorney in the Insurance Recovery Group at a large international law firm. During her tenure there, the group was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the Law Firm of the Year in Insurance Law for three consecutive years.
