Amy Mathieu concentrates her practice on commercial litigation matters. She has experience in a wide variety of complex civil litigation, including breach of contract actions, construction delay, defective work, and nonpayment claims, insurance matters, restrictive covenants, and derivative actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Amy served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Christine Ward of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Civil Division. She also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Maurice B. Cohill Jr., Senior District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
While attending law school at the University of Pittsburgh, Amy served as the Lead Notes and Comments Editor on the editorial board for the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Law and Commerce and was a legal research and writing teaching assistant for first year law students. She was also a finalist in the Murray S. Love Moot Court competition and the recipient of the Ralph J. Cappy Scholarship.
